Empower La_Vie is a soft, FDA approved medical grade silicone menstrual cup designed for easy insertion, cost effective and kind to our environment.

Having Empower La_Vie cups means there is no last-minute dash to the supermarket or stockpiling different absorbency pads or tampons, frees you from having to throw away used products and no more carrying around bulky backups.

Menstrual cups are worn internally, lower than a tampon, and collects rather than absorbs your menstrual fluid. It is folded and inserted into the vagina and opens up once it’s inside. You will need to remove and empty your cup usually 4-6 hours during the heavy flow and 10-12 hours on your lighter flow. Simply rinse out or wiped, and reinserted. Clean more thoroughly between periods.

Recommended:

Small: Best for under 18- or first-time users, light to moderate flow, low cervix and high physical activity. 

Medium: More of a fit most size, best for moderate to heavy flow, high cervix, or those who have given birth

Large: Moderate to heavy flow, older then 30 or have had a baby and high cervix

Perfect for the athletic lifestyle!

I was curious as to how using a cup would affect my lifestyle as someone whose second home is the gym!
My cycle is three days long so I decided to wear my cup over these three days to see the variables in how it felt/effectiveness while doing a handful of weighted exercises - Squats, deadlifts & RDLs
Much to my surprise (& gratitude, phew!)
I, 1- didn’t feel the cup at all, even on my heaviest day of my cycle where I did Squats
2- no leakage over any of the days
3- wearing a cup did not impact my typical day to day lifestyle as someone who does strength training!

Amazing!

Love this product. Purchased size large due to being a 35 yr old mother of 4 with heavy flow. Having researched menstrual cups for awhile I was apprehensive. But I finally tried it, love it, empty, rinse and pop it back in after work and again at night (just incase). I use the period underwear at night aswell, for peace of mind, and the period g-string when at the gym. So far no leakage while using the cup.
